This comprehensive course is designed to instruct participants in full spectrum of ballistic breaching starting with basic skills and progressing to advanced techniques. The course provides operators of all levels with the fundamental knowledge and physical skills to safety and effectively implements ballistic breaching capabilities into a wide range of tactical environments and missions.
The course primarily concentrates on the use of 12ga Shotguns for most tactical breaching applications. However, participants are exposed to the use of .556/ .223 M4 rifles for use in specific breaching scenarios in which 12ga Shotguns are not suitable. Understanding both capabilities, their pros and cons, is crucial for any tactical breacher tasked with conducting a target analysis and choosing a correct and effective method of breaching.
This course is thought exclusively by POST certified instructors who possess real-world operational experience in field of ballistic breaching.
Course Prerequisites:
Restricted to Fully Commissioned/ Sworn Law Enforcement Officers, Government Agents, and Active Military Personnel
