Course Introduction:
This fully interactive course provides participants with a comprehensive understanding and hands-on experience dealing with a wide range of IED and WMD electronic devices currently in use by terrorist groups worldwide. The course is split evenly between classroom and practical field exercises with great emphasis placed on the proper applications of physical skills in real-world scenarios.
The course instructs participants in the crucial skills necessary to effectively respond to, mitigate, and resolve various IED and WMD incidents including but not limited to “pre-placed IEDs, Pedestrian Borne IEDs (PBIED), Vehicle Born IEDs (VBIED), and common booby traps associated with these and other IED threats.
The skills and tactics taught in this course derive directly from our instructors’ real-life operational experiences with elite Israeli and US EOD/ Bomb Technician teams handling countless high-risk terrorist and criminal incidents in their respective fields. Their combined knowledge provides the basis for this unique course which was specifically designed for law enforcement operations in civilian environments.
Course Prerequisites:
- Restricted to Fully Commissioned/ Sworn U.S. Law Enforcement Officers, Government Agents, and Active Military Personnel
- Law Enforcement or Military certified Bomb Technician/ EOD
- Active member of a Bomb/ EOD Team
