Course Description:
This course is specifically designed for first line supervisors and command personnel tasked with supervising and managing tactical explosive breaching programs. The course identifies the critical skills and fundamental knowledge required by team leaders and tactical commanders to successfully employ explosive breaching capabilities in a legal and responsible manner.
The 3-day course combines interactive classroom lectures with practical live range demonstrations and practical exercises highlighting proper program development and sustainment, operational standards, identification and mitigation of hazards and liability, and deployment suitability for various missions. Course Description:
This course is geared toward law enforcement and military personnel who wish to gain the knowledge and expertise necessary to conduct tactical breaching operations in maritime environments. Course Description:
Designed as a train-the-trainer course, MACTAC Breacher training provides the fundamental breaching skills required by law enforcement officers assigned to Multi-Assault Counter-Terrorism Action Capabilities (MACTAC) teams and/ or similar active shooter response units. The course concentrates on the proper and effective applications of all applicable breaching methods for the purpose of achieving the tactical objectives during various dynamic missions.
The course curriculum was specially designed to accommodate the operational requirements of different LE units around the country. To do so, the training is divided into two types of modules, Standard and Optional. The Standard Modules are provided in all classes, regardless of length, and cover all applicable manual breaching methods and techniques. The Optional Modules cover mechanical, ballistic, and hydraulic breaching methods as they apply to MACTAC operations. The host agency is left to decide which Optional Modules if any are best suited for its officers and their mission objectives. The number of training days will increase from 3 to 5 depending on the desired Optional Modules.

Course Description
FETT Advanced Target Analysis (ATA) courses are specifically designed for tactical breachers operating in high liability environments that demand accurate breaching results while mitigating or eliminating undesirable hazards. To do so, such breachers are tasked with properly recognizing the unique challenges presented by a wide range of breaching targets, identifying their weaknesses, and designing methods for successful exploiting those weaknesses.
The ATA 101 course concentrates specifically on the wide range of DOORS found in both commercial and residential structure across the US. The course differs from basic and advanced breaching classes in that it concentrates solely on the breacher’s ability to identify specific details pertaining to target materials, construction properties, inherent strengths and weakness, and other crucial features. Participants will be instructed in the methodical process of analyzing this data and determining which energetic charge and/ or MMBTH tools are required to effectively compromise the target and achieve the desired breaching and mission objectives.

Course Description:
In the tactical breaching world, PROPER, operationally EFFECTIVE, and SAFE wall breaching is considered an advanced skill which requires specialized training. Although covered to various extents in most basic, intermediate, and advanced courses, the nature and complexity of breaching through these targets requires specific training which cannot be reasonably achieved in courses which encompass all targets.
ATA 102 curriculum is geared toward experienced breachers. It provides participants with the necessary format to focus solely on the unique and complex skills-sets required to PROPERLY, EFFECTIVELY, and SAFELY breach through a wide variety of walls and roofs commonly found throughout their operational environments. Course Description:
Designed as a train-the-trainer course, the Ballistic and Manual Breacher Certification curriculum provides participants with a complete training program, encompassing both methods of breaching and their deployments in support of one another. The training concentrates on the proper and effective applications of each method for the purpose of achieving the objectives of various tactical missions.
This unique course fulfills three important objectives. First, it provides participants with one training venue to learn, practice, and become proficient with both manual and ballistic breaching tools, and methodologies. Second, accomplished during countless practical exercises, it provides operators with the ability to dynamically implement various breaching tools in support of one another, thereby recognizing their true operational capabilities and limitations. Lastly, it equips participants with the fundamental information and experience to assist them in developing and/ or enhance their agency’s ballistic and manual breaching programs, as well as instruct its members.
This course is taught exclusively by POST certified instructors who possess real-world operational experience in field of hydraulic breaching.

Course Description:

Workshop Description:
This interactive workshop was created by and for operational breachers. Its main objective is to provide tactical operators with the ability to interact and learn from their fellow operators. The workshop affords participants the opportunity to physically interact and become involved in hands-on training. Furthermore, it will expose students to various breaching tactics and methods of operation currently in use by various agencies/ units nationwide.
The workshop will concentrate primarily on the subject of Tactical Explosive Breaching but will also include practical training modules in the fields of mechanical, ballistic, and exothermic breaching. In each module, participants will be provided with instruction and will then perform various tasks and tactics using the specific tool and/ or method of breaching presented.
Due to the operational nature of the workshop, all classes will be taught exclusively by active law enforcement officers and military personnel who possess current real-world operational experience in their respective breaching fields.
Training Objectives:
- Provide the most up-to-date explosive, mechanical, ballistic, thermal, and hydraulic breaching training to officers and military personnel.
- Provide training material, department policies, tactics, and methods of operation derived from Law Enforcement and Military operational experience.
- Expose experienced operators to various operational explosive breaching programs from around the US.
- Create the basis for professional networking between explosive breachers and their peers across the nation.
- Concentrate on providing hands-on training to all participants by nearly eliminating all classroom/lecture base training.
- Elevate the overall operational capabilities of the US explosive breaching community.
How the training works:
- Upon registration, participants will be provided with a list of 10 separate training modules covering various aspects of explosive, mechanical, ballistic, and exothermic breaching. Modules will be scheduled and repeated throughout the workshop based on participant interest and availability of targets. Modules will be taught at least twice throughout the 4 day workshop.
- Participants will choose their desired classes and will later be slotted to attend the training on scheduled times/ days. Participants are encouraged to attend as many classes as they can fit into their daily schedule.

Prerequisites:
- Teams must consist of two members of the same agency
- Teams must demonstrate acceptable proficiency with breaching methods and tools.
- For teams competing in the Explosive Breaching track- One team members must be certified as explosive breacher (proof of certification will be required.)
Rules:
- Teams must obey safety rules at all times.
- Safety equipment and gear must be used/ worn at all times.
- Teams must follow instructions from safety officers and/ or graders at all times.
- To assure overall consistency, teams must use the tools and materials provided by the organizing party.
- Members of the host agency will not be allowed to participate in the competition.
- Teams will compete at their assigned time. Failure appear at the designated area at the assigned time will result in automatic disqualification from the specific event.
- Proper safety equipment must be provided by each team member
- Tactical ballistic vest or plate carrier, ballistic helmet, and pistol holster must be worn at all times by both team members.
- All events are timed.
- Predetermined penalties will add time to the finishing time of the team. (see individual events for list of penalty descriptions and time)
- Team with the fastest total time (includes penalties) will win the event/s.
- Absolutely NO whining allowed!!!
Prizes
- Prizes will be awarded to winners of all individual events and the all-around Master Breacher Event.
- Prizes include breaching equipment, gear, and free spots for manual, mechanical, ballistic, thermal, and explosive breaching certification courses valued in the thousands of dollars.
