Designed as a train-the-trainer course, this Exothermic Breacher Certification training instructs participants in basic to advanced breaching skills utilizing exothermic breaching torches.   This all encompassing curriculum covers in details all aspects of safe handling, maintenance, and deployment of thermal breaching tools.  Its main concentration is on the proper and effective tactical applications of such torches in various tactical missions.

This unique course fulfills three important objectives.  First, it provides participants with one training venue to learn, practice, and become proficient with exothermic breaching tools and methodologies.  Second, accomplished during countless practical exercises, it provides operators with the ability to dynamically implement exothermic breaching capabilities in conjunctions with other breaching tools thereby recognizing their true operational capabilities and limitations. Lastly, it equips participants with the necessary information and experience to assist them in developing their agency’s exothermic breaching programs, and instruct its members.

 

This course is taught by POST certified law enforcement instructors and veteran military operators.  All possess real-world operational experience in field of thermal breaching.


Course Prerequisites:

Restricted to Fully Commissioned/ Sworn U.S. Law Enforcement Officers, Government Agents, and Active Military Personnel.

  • Members of other specialized units which require operational knowledge and capacities in the field of tactical breaching
