Course Description
This course provides participants with a comprehensive understanding of the threats associated with Vehicle Borne Improvised Explosive Devices (VBIED) as well as methods of scanning and detecting these threats in various environments. Participants are instructed in mitigation and neutralization techniques critical for handling such threats during various high risk and dynamic incidents to include Terrorist MCI’s and large scale/multiple attack scenarios.
The skills and tactics taught in this course derive directly from our instructors’ real-life operational experiences with elite Israeli and US EOD/ Bomb Technician teams handling countless high-risk terrorist and criminal incidents in their respective fields. Their combined knowledge provides the basis for this unique course which was specifically designed for law enforcement operations in civilian environments.
Course Prerequisites:
- Restricted to Fully Commissioned/ Sworn U.S. Law Enforcement Officers, Government Agents, and Active Military Personnel
- Law Enforcement or Military certified Bomb Technician/ EOD
- Active member of a Bomb/ EOD Team
